Two local school girls raise funds for Swanage RNLI

Both Holly Bood and Mia Lovett raised funds as part of a school activity.
The Swanage volunteer lifeboat crew invited the girls, along with their head teacher Mr Adam Darley, onboard the all-weather lifeboat to present the money that they had raised during a school’s business project week.
This exciting project sees the school provide £10 to the students to set them on their way to making more money over a week. Mia and Holly not only raised the most, £61 but wanted to donate it to the local lifeboat.
Coxswain, Dave Turnbull, said: ‘It’s always great when the younger generation supports us. It really shows that the message of our life-saving work is getting out’
