Welcome to Swanage Lifeboats online
Swanage Lifeboat Station is one of over 230 RNLI lifeboat stations around the coast of the UK and the Republic of Ireland. The RNLI is a charity and relys on voluntary contributions from the public to keep its lifeboats at sea. At Swanage we have 2 lifeboats, an All Weather 'Mersey' class and a 'D-Class' inshore lifeboat. We have a volunteer crew of which 29 are sea going and 5 are shore crew to launch & recover the boats.

We aim to update the website within 12 hours of getting back from a shout but this is not always possible.
